I bought a bunch for grandmas.
Is it ok in city limits to shoot them off....or where can I go if not?

Legally, you can't. But, as long as it's not too late or for too long of a period, and you clean up the debris afterwards, the police generally won't have an issue with it. Unless, you get a cop whose had a rough shift, or live next to someone who has nothing better to do with his/her time than call the police for every little infraction.
Dallas-Cynic is 100% right. When I lived in Wisconsin and it was the same. Legal to sell and buy fireworks but is illegal to blow them off. I guess they are "illegal" because some people abuse it, especially if they are high or drunk.
Has anyone considered what will happen if a neighbor calls the police because they don't like the noise or are cpncered about the potential damage to their property by fire, etc.?

Scorpio...read the last sentence of my post, it pretty much covers what you're saying.

XYZ...I don't think they can even sell INSIDE city limits...seems like the stands are always just outside Springfield

I guess I'll go to my kids house in the country
Thanks y'all!
I was in the biz for awhile....illegal to sell and shoot inside the city limits. But the police wont go unless there is a complaint.

Those places on Republic road are outside the city limits. The city lines jump around out there. Trust me....mo sales in the city legally. I had a tent for 20 years here.
