What does it mean when a patrol unit is parked out front?

Been wanting to try out Oceans in CL, but there has been a patrol unit parked(right at the entrance door) every day. Do they keep tabs on johns entering/leaving?

It means you need to find another place.
Maybe they’re providing security for the strip center, I’ve seen a patrol car parked in a strip center for the longest over on westheimer near Fondren, the vehicle doesn’t have anyone in it though, just there as a deterrent is my guess.

Move along and find another place. I tend to circle the block and drive around before I go in.

A few years ago in DC I was meeting a SW at a hotel and did my usual drive around. Low and behold in the alley behind the hotel was an entire swat team gearing up. Yup, got a few blocks away called the booker and told them I would be cancelling and why.

If your gut tells you something ain't right listen to it vs the little head.
Isn’t there a donut shop right next door?

To finish my post, should have also read, the parked LE vehicle parked to serve as a deterrent to potential crime in and around the strip center, not necessarily to scare off amp customers. I notice an unmanned LE at some local banks, prolly cop is inside of bank.

Better for it to be outside prior to you going in than waiting for you when you come out. Just go on to the next spot and try again some other day.
