How did a sunny day turn so rainy?
I guess I should have checked the weather beforehand! 🥺🥺
Hoping everyone is having a wonderful afternoon..
It’s Mobile, it’s one of the rainiest cities in the U.S. annually... Ironically, Mobile is the rainiest city in Alabama, while Dauphin Island is the driest. It has to do with the height above sea level. As that height increases inland, the moist air off the Gulf is forced to higher altitudes and cooler air, that moisture then precipitates as rain ... remember, you asked Welcome to Mobile

We have a saying “If you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes.”
Hey Tara, if you are still in Mobile, you are about to see some rain... again, I am not a meteorologist, I don’t need to be, I have lived here my whole life. There’s a hurricane coming this way.
I have run for no reason, I have stayed when I should have run ... I don’t know, I think I can handle this one ... oh yeah, Roll Tide Roll , just hopefully not into my house ... Katrina made me a believer, it really sucks when you have no where else to go...trust me
