So got a call from number I didn’t recognize and now threatening to beat me up if I don’t pay them for wasting their time. They used a number from this ad https://www.eroticmonkey.ch/katy-escort-joplin-424631 and another number 816-307-5962.

Been through this stuff before. Once you respond it’s tough to make it stop. If it ever happens again completely ignore it.

This kind of stuff law enforcement wouldn't touch. All you have is a fake name and burner number. Which jurisdiction are they? You would have to prove they were in your county or city for them to take a complaint. Even when you do, they might not do anything. I know a woman who turned in someone. They had a felony warrant from a neighboring county. She gave the legal name of the wanted person, address they were living , their car tag, where they worked and name of the individual who was harboring the felon. The county she notified wouldn't serve the warrant because the issuing county, wouldn't drive 30 min. to extradite. They were in the same state.
