It seems shops at bellaire will never get busted ?

Safe net over there with the locals?
Ain't nobody (neighbors) complaining, it's a way of life and typically accepted by Asian community, they do get inspected by local officials, whatever department that would be, but they are in compliance for the most part I reckon. If you've ever noticed many HPD officers in Chinatown are Asian for obvious reasons too.

^^What he said.
I was at U-Spa one day when health inspectors/HPD came in and started inspecting the place. Was not pleased that it cut my visit in half. It wasnt a bust or a raid, just a regular inspection but it spooked all the gals.

Definitely a cultural thing.
Agree 100% with everything above.

I read the other day about a massage/nails place on Dairy Ashford that is in trouble with the law. You go a few miles up the road, and it is a different world.

A few years ago, if y’all recall, amps were being fined for not complying with proper licensing, inappropriate wear by providers etc, it had quite an effect on local business, was about the time places like L Amour, Kim’s Spa, 7 Star to name a few favorites were put out of business, L Amour reopened under Magia Spa and eventually closed for good, now, even that building is gone. Then came fosta/sesta laws, dramatically changed the amp scene, Houston lost many a great talent, now we have tons of grannies. A couple years ago there was quite a few more Indy’s/UTR girls providing service from discreet locations, but they too have simmered down a bit.
