Have prices gone up everywhere?

Last month, found out my old fave place U-Spa (Westhiemer/Dairy Ashford) went to a more standard $60/$90. Today Imperial (Gessner/Harwin) jumped up to $60/$80.

I know prices have to go up but the quirky spots lose their appeal when the prices are the same as the known quantity places. Any places still have a $50 or less 60 min. sessions? I almost pulled into Haiyu but I couldnt make a left turn on Bellaire that late in the afternoon today.
6. + 10. is the new standard for 1hr now I assume (at least for blalock places)

F that. I’m going to go back to a HARD 40 tip if HF goes to 60.

Yes, the prices are going up. Stopped in today at 8 Massage and the price list showed $60...the only one available was the old lady—-I had to pass. LZ is still at $50, for now.
I never minded tipping $50 for a good HJ when the HF was $50, but now it’ll be a hard $40 like PK said.
My go-to is to purchase 90 min. sessions so I would normally have a solid 60 minutes of real massage with time to enjoy a value add.

U-Spa was $60 for 90 min. for the longest time. which allowed me to drop 5 Hamiltons for service and tip and stroll out without the headache of finding change or rifling through the wallet with the provider looking over my shoulder.

I don't mind tipping more for exceptional attention but I do mind paying more for mediocre service.

Prices DONT have to go up they are just charging more and i refuse to pay it and will walk out. Asians refuse to bargain until your in your car driving away and being chased down like i have a dozen times getting what i want for far less

Hello pkh, I thought I knew all the terminology and analogies on here haha, but HF has me and google stumped? Unless it's having fun? I hate asking these questions but now I'm just plain curious.

Ty boy1, I was not grasping the context at all, haha, and now I feel really stupid as I thought I would. Oh well, ty again

Prices always go up. They never go down. Even during the worst of covid everyone expected the independents to lower their prices but they pretty much held firm.
It is. And the massages were always top-notch with great prices. And with no option for a +1 service, I could relax instead of wonder the whole time if anything more interesting would happen. And with the price so cheap, I could then hop over to a + location for a quick half-hour dessert experience.

Over the years, some of the U-Spa gals could become more friendly than others (and I did see one a few times offsite for personal shenanigans).

Even the places on Bellaire that used to be 40 for the hour have gone to 45 or 50 with some up to 60 now
