Pics Don't Match Actual

Asking for a friend! Is it bad etiquette if I make a date with someone who posts pics but when you show up looks completely different. Is it ok to say thanks but no thanks?
I usually ask if the pics are for representation or actually her and say it helps to set expectations.

There are a few on STG LR this week. They say the pics are of themselves, but I haven't had time to explore.
Video verification would be one way to make sure that they are the actual person in the photos turnabout is fair play as they say. Some often ask for references and verification what's good for one should be good for the other especially if you have questions about their identity.

Are you talking about the pictures not being the same as actual cause it's a whole different girl, or someone took some liberties with the filters?

Your welcome!

From some of the pics I see on STG, they could not possibly look worse than their pics.

I had that happen to me years ago. Showed up to the room, she opened the door, clearly not the same girl. I said “nope” turned and walked. Immediately got a call from management threatening me. He said he knew where I lived, I told him to go f@&k himself and I’d be waiting. End of story
I have gone both ways. If I show up and they look nothing like their pictures I politely say I am sorry but don’t feel comfortable with the visit and I always have told them why. But that is usually if the pictures are nowhere close to who opens the door, usually their bodies. However I have seen girls that the body looks similar and they are still cute, but obviously not the girl in the pictures . Usually it is because they live here and worry about their personal privacy. I use to see a red headed gorgeous girl who used fake pictures as she had a real world job dealing with the public. She could not chance her boss, co-workers or customers seeing her in an escort ad but needed the extra income and enjoyed it. But you could not tell the difference in her body and the photos except for her tattoo. So is it proper etiquette to leave if the pictures are fake? yes, however sometimes it is wiser to stay. My ATF never showed her face in pictures but if I didn’t go see her the first time I wouldn’t have met an amazing girl, again I am sure you know who I am talking about.

It’s a no go for me. If someone uses different pics for their ad due to the need to protect real world job etc, I feel they should disclose that to the potential client once screening has been complete. I do not like surprises at the point of actual contact. It’s just too risky to ignore a red flag of that magnitude. JMHO
