if that remodeling plan goes through my guess is that the K bars will relocate to some other low rent area of town.
And when the move occurs, (IF it occurs) they won't be the same by loosing the character of these establishments. Walking into them is like going back in time to a previous era. Delightful feeling.

@ Pyle. Great find. Interesting article and looking at the map on the link it's a huge project. Projected to start 2023 not mentioning the acquiring of property needed (eminent domain in some cases) and where they will start. Near 610 or further up towards downtown. If they started 2025 I would be surprised.

@ Ghost--I doubt they will relocate. Old lady Deng owns the property housing Roseland and Moon. Those 2 buildings alone if bought are worth a pretty penny. And the girls said once she owns some other property on TR. Plus she's about 78 now. Jasmine owns the former Sky High bldg and now the bldg with the remodeled Bamboo and BC and the convivence store. She is no spring chicken either and I bet will cash out. The oldie that owns HGL has had that property up for sale for 2 + yrs. She told me once if she sells she is going back to Korea.
