Now this - Imagine working for the city & residents of San Francisco for 20 years... receiving recognition & respect from all you encounter, and suddenly being laid off - for no reason other than the color of your skin.

Well, that is what just happened to Elections Director John Arntz.

That's racial bias and discrimination. However I would say that if the role was one that had open bidding or a contract type of role, then he's just shit out of luck. That said, pretty fucking stupid to ever tell an incumbent that they are not being renewed because of race. I smell a fat lawsuit in the making- regardless.
