Dang I have something nasty but Test is negative

The test can be negative and you still have it. I tested negative more than once before I got back a positive. Put me in the hospital but that was more than 1 1/2 years ago.

Tested neg on a Thursday, felt like hell. Tested positive on the following Saturday, felt fine recovering from feeling like crap Wed, Thur, Fri. There's no telling.
