First time in Pensacola

I am pretty new to ECCIE and new visitor to the Panhandle.
Just stopping by to introduce myself and get some advice on places to go.

Is there an area where I can be on the beach but a little away from the tourists or crowds? Any advice on places to eat would also be appreciated.
I am not sure what part of the panhandle you want to be in. I like Ft Pickens just across the bridge from Pensacola. Beaches are not as crowded as in town, but you do have to get a park pass. Favorite place to eat near the beach is Peg Leg Pete’s

The beach will be crowded everywhere but downtown is a nice area close to the beach. Downtown awesome places to eat a lot of hole in the wall places and food trucks.I love hub Stacy's great place, the garden center has great food trucks, Jerry's Drive in and New York Pizza & Deli, both on scenic, are absolutely delicious. I love food but not into the beach so I can't help with that area but these are close enough. Hope you have fun.

Check out Johnson Beach, it is never crowded and has good parking. You can go a little further and check out the FloraBama
