AI Fueled Surveillance Systems Can ensure Citizens will be on Best Behavior

Posting, for the discussion purposes. Not a Tech guy so really don't understand AI.

Just curious on what experts who understand AI and what that will mean for the Hobby.

I understand Hotels have an extensive camera system, but typically these systems are in tge back ground of the office with no one watching. Typically, these videos are only reviewed when issues occur.

Just curious on AI and the future of the hobby.

Fiz,
At larger hotels they are watched 24x7. Security at hotels is an insurance company required item.

AI has no relationship to hotel security at this time.

More than a decade ago we used to post best of clips at hotel mgmnt meetings. My all time fav was a couple gals using a luggage cart to wheel their drunk client back to his room.
Yes, #1 issue is drunk guests.

Cameras are dirt cheap nowadays. As are computers and software. The feeds go to hotel office and to offsite.

Back to AI, using that to track individual citizens is anticipated. However, very, very few systems are connected yet. The only thing active nowadays is traffic monitoring which includes license plate reading if installed.

Be worried about AI operating cars & police drones.
Cars that drive themselves has started.

But do the self driving cars have front license plate properly affixed to the vehicle? And does the vehicle obey the 30mph speed limit on Westpark? Does it maintain its registration?

What happens when an AI car gets pulled over by an AI cop? Does the AI cop permit the AI car to sufficiently aspirate the correct air to fuel mixture (assuming an ICE car) or does the AI car request permission to the AI cop to allow its air intake to function properly.

If it is an electric (or even an ICE car), does the AI cop car have a kill switch to disable your AI vehicle? i Robot, anyone?

If AI knows what you want does the AI self driving car automatically take you there?

I try to turn off the location setting on my phone. But half the time it’s on. On a certain day of the week, just prior to leaving work, it flashed the indie location of where I usually go on that day!

What about the former FL congressman’s AI car? Does it automatically drive across the state line or does it stop at the state line because it knows what the congressman had in mind and compared it to applicable state and federal regulations (purely hypothetical and only what your mind infers; not explicitly stated… but yet again your AI mind went there, didn’t it?).

Where’s Rod Sterling?

Even worse, if you aren’t old enough to recognize that name, does AI automatically inform you of the meaning of that reference?

Who am I? Where am I? Whose wine? What wine?
Where the hell did I dine? Must have been a dream
I don't believe where I've been
Come on, let's do it again…

AI dogs are already out.
Do they need a human to pick up after a walk?
Are leashes actually needed?
Are Trolls already servants to AI?
Should trolls be licensed? Is that a premium cost?
Or, are there AI Trolls? Perhaps so.
What about AI cats? Those are out also.
Will an AI dog chase an AI cat?
Will an AI mouse make a deal with an AI Dog?
Would an AI cat need to be sent to camp?

OK ignoring where I was going with this (a breakfast place that serves waffles), quite a few robotic cats, dogs, etc, that are currently on the market, carry cameras (think drones), and can be surveillance equipment. What about that robotic carpet vacuum in a hotel hallway? Or the robotic floor sweeper at a nursing home? Easily yes. One of the outfits I work with is replacing wi-fi nodes at all hotel elevator lobbies so that additional equipment can be controlled on every floor on seperate frequencies.

One of my guys has team can wire up a four wheeler to be robotic (easy part - basic drone control) but I have a bet for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle whisky if he can develop a cattle herding program.

Fix for you Mikey
I think there's no much effect because it's not worth it to focus the resources on.
The Patriot Act is enough.
