It can be difficult. Interrupts travel, dries out skin, and makes everyone want to stay home.

But, let me tell you why it's my favorite season. It slows things down and reminds us to anticipate the coming spring. And skiing. And sledding. And fires. And smores. And snowmen with the kids and grandkids. And hot chocolate (and other drinks with rum included). I sleep better at night under the weight of my grandmother's quilt. And there are fewer people on the roads, since it makes everyone want to stay home! I love winter.
