But it works I swear!

Meta (Facebook) joins the ranks of those shedding their non-value add DEI program. Seeing Zuckerberg do a 180 gives some hope for the rest of the world.

Nice bump for the stock in an otherwise down day for the market. Who knew getting rid of wasteful spending is seen as a good thing. Can’t want for DOGE!

“Mark Zuckerberg's Meta, $META, is terminating its major DEI programs, effective immediately, including for hiring, training and picking suppliers, per Axios.”
All because of Trump and the rest of the country. Has to make Trump smile, it does me.

What phonies the likes of Bezos and Zuckerberg are. These two jackasses are some of the wealthiest people in the world in spite of having no character.
Can you imagine the outrage if there were colleges sponsoring a trip and only white and Asian people could attend?

DEI is inherently racist.

“Texas A&M is sponsoring a trip to a DEI conference that prohibits whites and Asians from attending. The university falsely claims that this use of taxpayer funds does not violate the state's DEI ban.”

DEI isn't inherently racist. Misapplied DEI principles can be used to further racism, though.

That's an important distinction to recognize
Based on my experience DEI prioritizes identity over qualifications or merit.

What some may call misapplied, I will call it racist.

Not only is it racist, it foments racism and sexism. It calls into question whether or not individuals deserve their position based on merit (pilots-doctors-etc), even if they do. Any thinking person has it in their mind if the guy ready to take a scalpel to their chest or taxi down that runway is actually the best person for the job, or were they pushed through due to the color of their skin or their genitalia.

Common sense and elimination of racism of this item against Asians and white people.

“Governor Abbott says Texas A&M must cease its support for its segregated DEI trip, or its president will have to find a new job.”

Eliminating the department or "some DEI policies" doesn't mean they have eliminated DEI entirely. Most of those are scaling back.

Do some more homework. It's far more entrenched than you understand and most of those companies will shift the focus and we'll be calling it by another name within a year. In some cases, they already are.
