Armed with just enough Spanish had the best weekend of my life. Until detained in a hotel lobby by local police and stripped of all my USD and Pesos. In Thailand unless you are looking for trouble you won’t get any.in as much you can ask the POLICE where to go. Where I was staying in PATAYA if I spelled right . Their is a place called BEACH ave just loaded with young Thai freelances .One was taking to a cop and I just said hi.. it is a part of their culture.Amazing place and the food and booze is so dam cheap
