Musk vs. Trump

VitaMan's Avatar
One week and already 2 major issues.

- Musk bashes $ 500 billion A1 bill signed by Trump
- Trump guts preferences and initiatives for EVs

Can they really co-exist for much longer, given Trump's nature ?

It may a worse break up than the Eagles.

... A fine Australian football manager name o' Lombardi has a rather
trite saying for situations such-as the one you bring up.

"GREAT Teamwork surely yields GREAT Results!" ...

... Trump and Musk don't seem to have any issue.
So, looks like nothing but "wishful thinking" on your part, mate.

... And why we're here - perhaps we could ask the Monitours
to merge your "Trump Musk Coexist" thread with this one.
That thread didn't garner ANY responce as-of yet, but
this one did - so maybe they can be merged.

In the interest of saving bandwidth....

I thought Musk was against the EV incentives when Biden put them on.

Difference of opinion doesn't mean a break up. It helps to make things better and stronger.

Trump has been putting out too much stuff to pass up....and it hasn't been a week.
And this site (forum) is boring. The same MAGA crew of 10 or so, posting the same stuff.

Anything in your post about the topic ?

Now what was it Trump said he promised to.....but didn't ? Don't worry about me, Trump is much more important.

Trump has about a year and half to resurrect his reputation. He is currently ranked the 3rd worst president of all time. Let's see how this turns out. I would be surprised if Musk and Trump are able to stay together.

Some reference material:

Politico reports that some on Trump's team are now "furious" with Musk for undermining Trump's push for the project. "It's clear he has abused the proximity to the president," a Trump ally says. "The problem is the president doesn't have any leverage over him, and Elon gives zero f---s." The outlet notes it's "highly unusual" for an adviser to be publicly critical toward a sitting president or their initiatives as Musk was, and that some of Trump's allies have been concerned about how much access he seems to have to the president. "We are now working with him to make sense of his ideas—ideas are innovative," a White House official says. "Execution, not so much."
