One Week, more optimism as America moving on right track

Trump has done a lot in the first week getting the United States moving on the right track.

Trump has put China and Russia on notice to get back in line.

Democrats whining like true idiots.

Hope week two is just as good.

EO are the kleenex of DC.

Get back to us when the Hill is in full lock step passing Bills. Not pipe dreams.
You are kidding right, and I agree you must be sleeping under a rock. Diaper Don is a frigging moron and we have 4 years of his BS to live by. 🙄

How has he put China and Russia on notice?

By Being Best bullying Denmark and Panama?

He is too scared of picking on someone supposedly his own size so has to make himself plump up to little people.
Hey. Be nice. Trump has been actively practicing DEI. He gave some choice jobs to Pete Hegseth and Kristi Noem despite their obvious mental deficiencies. RFK Jr is next. And then Tulsi. Hire the Handicapped has become popular again!

As far as "optimism" goes though. Not more. Not at all.

"The RealClearMarkets/TIPP Economic Optimism Index in the US fell to 51.9 in January 2025 from a 40-month high of 54 in December and missing market forecasts of 55.1. The Six-Month Economic Outlook, which measures how consumers perceive the economy's prospects in the next six months, declined to 52.1 from 55.6 in December. Also, the RCM/TIPP Confidence in Federal Economic Policies index, which gauges perceptions of the effectiveness of government economic policies, declined to 43.4 from 47.7. Meanwhile, the Personal Financial Outlook, a measure of how Americans feel about their own finances in the next six months, improved to 60.1 from 58.7. source: Technometrica Market Intelligence/RealClearMarkets"
... You're looking at the WRONG optimism there, Wazoo...

Trump's onley been on a good week... "January" was STILL Biden.

The reason for the HIGH optimism in December is surely because
TRUMP WON the Election! ... ... ...

Never was a Dick Cheney fan. But I have been nicely surprised with Liz. Much of her political history sucks ass. But she's honest and has guts. No one else in government really does any more. They have all sold their souls. We are seeing the worst of that right now. Fealty and hero worship are all that count now. Integrity, talent, and experience are not welcome or valued.

And with respect to the topic, optimism for much of this country is at the lowest point in my lifetime. Trump isn't fully responsible but he sure isn't making it better. And I have no illusions whatsoever that he will.

President Trump is making.......some..... good moves regarding wasteful expenditures of the federal government, federal employees, stopping grants to NGOs.

If he had a better approach, not constantly a bully, and wasn't a liar and a crook, he might even be likeable.
Still waiting for my no income tax, no tax on tips, no tax on OT (on a 40 hour week), $2 eggs, $1 gas. So far we are moving away from that, not toward. War stopped in Ukraine, and the "Holy" land.
Trump’s favorables are already going down. And wrong track is starting to rise. I suspect that 2-3 months in, folks will start remembering why he lost 4 years ago.
