Both parties messed up here. I have a pretty strict no deposit rule for me, personally, but I can see, for outcalls, how providers would require a deposit or to pay for their Uber. Her not doing the outcall and still taking the deposit, is unprofessional on her part. Op not being able to complete the transaction once agreeing to come to her, is totally on him, though. That itself is a red flag instantly for a scam for most guys. I went to her actual place of living, it wasn't a rented apartment or cheap motel or some something that she paid for. So I wasted my gas and she was 55 minutes away from me. All she did was take a shower and sit and wait. I think I'd rather be that person and not the one driving. Yes I could have went to the ATM and pulled out cash but I could tell by her body language she wasn't even in the mood hence why I just left. I think this is one of those cases where you had to be me to understand the situation on top of that the response I got from her after I POLITELY requested my deposit back because AGAIN we didn't do anything sexual and she did not provide a service.
