Texas closes massage parlor for suspected human trafficking

For those wondering why we are seeing more of these, and why TDLR seems to always be mentioned in the story:

Under a state law that took effect in 2023, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s executive director can issue an emergency order to stop the operation of any massage business if the department’s staff or law enforcement believes human trafficking is occurring.

This was the 19th emergency order issued by the department since the law went into effect.

Tao in Woodhaven.
So they suspected “human trafficking” due to finding women in skimpy clothing, condoms, and an ATM in the lobby.

We all know why we go to these shops. Take the cash and cover with you. And the women can wear scrubs out front and they can take it off on the room.
ATM? I've seen other AMPs with ATM within tho
It seems they are now using an ATM in the lobby as a reason to suspect trafficking/sex work.
There was a bust in Arlington today. Not sure it was an amp https://www.facebook.com/share/p/165h3w4G13/

I’m going to guess the Arlington incident is not AMP related.
