Drag brunch at Aslin Beer Co.
Looking for brunch and a show? Aslin Beer Co. in Strip District Terminal is hosting a Steel City Drag Brunch presented by S&S Productions on March 16. It includes performances by local drag queens Luna Skye and Indi Skies.

The three-hour show will feature local drag queens, drag kings and trans performers, with both lip syncing and live singing. There also will be dancing — and guests are welcome to sing and dance along with the performers.

Seating begins at 11 a.m. with a noon showtime. Prices, including fees, are: bar seating for one person $12.51; a table for two $23.16; a high top table for four $44.52; and a picnic table for six $65.87. Tables of the same size can be combined for larger groups. Walk-ins will be accepted, and the fee is $10 at the door. Guests must be 18 or older to attend.

Brunch is not included in the ticket price, but the brewery will feature a special drag brunch menu that includes pancakes, full egg breakfasts and sauces and hash made in house. Prices range from $10-$15. Aslin Beer Co.’s regular drink menu will be available to guests 21 and older.

Indi Skies, co-founder of S&S Productions, hopes this event will allow attendees to take a moment away from the seriousness of the world and enjoy the art and entertainment of drag.

“The message is to be yourself — your true authentic self — to find ways to make yourself happy ... and I think our brunches do that for them.”

South Side BBQ is probly closest, and you can hit some AMPs

But I will be doing 2 briskets and 12 racks that weekend. Mebbe some chickens.
