This is the final failure in a grand scheme cooked up by Turner and deceased former long time US Representative Shiela Jackson Lee.
Turner was term limited from running for Mayor again, so he and the Queen Bee decided to just swap spots. Turner would run for Shiela’s seat in the House, and Shiela would be a shoe in to be elected Mayor.
After all, contrary to popular belief, the largest city in Texas is actually a liberal shithole politically.
But a guy name Whitmire, a conservative Democrat, threw a monkey wrench in the gears and Shiela got beat.
Sylvester won, as the 9th is one of those slums that vote Democrat regardless.
But it seems the Grim Reaper has sorted it all out.
Now the question will be, what local poverty pimp will take the seat now. One thing is for sure. It will be a Democrat, and he or she will be a corrupt charlatan.
