tariffs are tax cuts......???

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed Tuesday that tariffs are “a tax cut for the American people.”

She's insulted that you'd dare to think she doesn't have a fucking clue what she's talking about. Doesn't the AP know better than to present facts to this administration and it's puppets??


Let the American people learn for themselves.

She is a dingbat, and it is a silly way to put it, but she simply meant that tariff revenue will allow tax cuts to offset government tax revenue from people (specifically billionaires) ... it's bullshit, but at least it's an excuse for the unnecessary trade war nonsense that will occur with other countries.

She has improved a lot already from her first press briefing.


I don't think a press secretary should have to explain policy....just advise what is going on and leave it at that.


Unfortunately a lot of reporters like to try "gotcha" questions.
