At least a good taco shop. Like legit tacos though, torchys does not count!

Candlelight Inn on Division has good mexican food.

BLM69-1, try El Ranchito on Cooper. More authentic Mexican dishes vs Tex-mex.

Or try 225 in downtown Arlington. It’s Texicue similar to Hurtado’s but should be less expensive. I had their brisket Elotes when they were still operating a food truck in west Ag-town, and it was quite good. They’re now in the old maverick bar in downtown Ag-town.

I know there are some pretty decent taco stands around town, but I’m not too familiar with those.

I'm not generally a fan of pappasito's but I really like the patio at the one in Arlington.

Now that you mention Pappas family and patios…the bar and patio area of their Arlington pappadeaux’s is really nice. It’s built next to a wooded dry creek bed that makes for a naturally shaded spot that is really pleasant when the weather is nice. Quite surprising considering its location fronting I30.
