bought and paid for judges are state court judges who have to run for elections and re-elections, such as happens in Texas.

federal court judges have the chance to do what's right. i suspect few are bought and sold. all hail the Founding Fathers..

Accountability for judges seems on to be on the immediate horizon.

In medicine, there is a mechanism that can remove a doctor's hospital privileges if too many of his/her patients doo poorly. There is the potential for the revocation of their license to practice medicine.

It seems to me that something like that should be the case for judges and prosecutors . . .and I do not mean the electoral process.

If an appeals court is overturned frequently, there should be an automatic review with the potential for suspension or removal. Revocation of credentials should be a possibility as well.
