thanks…fun time as usual…
Unfortunately when I got home from my trip there.. I found out I lost all my groceries (300$worth) due to the storm/tornado that hit my town of Springfield while I was gone…but at least my house is ok…lots of tree branches littering the yard,but no other damage…and after 4 days of no electricity..the lights are now back on…yeahhh!

I lived in Springfield for about four years before moving in 2018. Still have good friends there and heard about how rough it was there last week with power outages, storm damage, etc. Sorry to hear about your woes, but glad the house is OK and your power is finally back. We've gone through that a couple of times in the last year, and it's a huge pain in the ass! One of those things you take for granted until you don't have it.

yes Frank…my neighborhood looks bad…a lot of trees were downed in their yards-and my Nextdoor neighbor had a huge tree uprooted and fell on his electric lines..and my flea market had their electric pole snap so it’s been closed a few days.

a house down the street from me got their roof torn off..there had been a fire last month there and the guy was on the roof repairing it when the storm came thru and he got blown off with it.but he’s not seriously hurt.

I know all the flea markets and antique markets well in Springfield and Ozark. When she was still living, my wife and I spent a lot of time browsing those places and finding cool stuff. My wife rented a space at Relics for a while and did pretty good business.

Hope the good folks in Springfield get back to normal soon.
