Dark mode

Is there a way to turn the site pages dark for night viewing? This white site is blinding!

Dark mode must be programmed into the website. I’m guessing the vBulletin software that runs the ECCIE site is old enough to not have this feature implemented.

You’ll note this at the bottom of the page.

A date of 2009 - 2016 is well behind when dark mode became common place.

The owners will probably need to update the site for this feature to become available.

This video shows an interesting tutorial about Dark Reader.
You can change background to dark mode

Bottom left corner of tbe site should have a drop down to select a quick style.

There's a black one, but it wasn't setup for high contrast or night view that I can see, just banners.

This is how various versions of vBulletin handled things back in the day, via quick styles and style variations.

I use a built-in stock night mode filter from in my browser settings to match my phone's night filter.
