I came to post that. You beat me by 5 minutes.

This is great news.

The whole concept is utterly absurd. Inhumane and unjust. I can't even mock it.

My bigger concern is that the Super Majority on the Supreme Court is bound and determined to enable these immoral tyrants to do anything that they want. Which will likely lead to a day when they will do something that even MAGA can't support. But it will be too late.

This is nothing to be proud of.

Inhumane and unjust? What is inhumane and unjust about it?

They came here illegally. We didn't tell them to do that.

If they came in legally, then they wouldn't have to worry about being arrested and deported, would they?

At least we are kind to deport them unlike these other countries if you entered them illegally.

North Korea: Illegal entry is often met with severe punishment, including the death penalty or long-term imprisonment in labor camps.

Singapore: May involve imprisonment for up to six months, a fine, and corporal punishment (caning).

Pakistan: A 10-year prison sentence is possible for illegal entry.

India: Imprisonment of up to 8 years is stipulated under India's Foreigners Act.

Russia: May involve up to two years of forced labor or imprisonment.

Iran: Penalties range from imprisonment up to three years or fines.

China: Can range from short-term detention and deportation to years in prison

Attempting to justify our actions by saying "we don't suck as much as these other assholes" is not a very good argument.

We are better than this.

Or...we used to be.

.
As absurd as this order is, it takes a backseat to the absurdity of the Biden Administration letting all of these people just stream across the border.

If that's the case, JackyS why are the comparative deportation numbers so low?

This is more bullshit. Like a bad punch line in a Grade B comedy.

This is all more logic that does not make for a good argument either, sorry.

Biden was an asshole. Obama was an asshole. Saying "Trump gets to be an asshole now too, since they were" doesn't work.

We are fucking better than this!

Can someone please explain to me why this is a “WIN”.

The only thing crueler than sending someone to a place like South Sudan is if they are not citizens of South Sudan in the first place. Or doing so while separating them from their family and friends. This is a win for barbarism and cruelty.

The US may have engaged in human rights abuses but never so visibly.

Apparently to our resident cheerleaders, whenever a court doesn't find Trump guilty of something it's WINNING.

LOLLING!

I'm curiuos for all you that think this is inhumane and cruel what do you think we should do with them? They are certainly capable of entering another country illegally. They do have experience. Do you believe we should just give them a green card and a pathway to citzenship? They are here illegally. They need to get the fuck out on their own or accept whatever deportation the Trump administration orders.

There should 100% be a pathway to citizenship as long as they have a clean record while in the US and they are working. They collectively pay about 100 billion in taxes and do jobs that many US citizens wont do. They only use about 35 billion in resources.
