There’s alway been an adversarial relationship between every President and the Fed. However this time 2 of it board members voted for a .25% decrease in interest rates. That’s never happened before. There seems to be a mutiny brewing among it’s members. The Fed chairman is just being overly cautious.

The fed is looking for stability in the market but they are not seeing it. When the administration keeps changing their economic policies in stupid and unexpected ways it’s up to the fed to provide stability to the economy.

Having the president threaten the fed is just another example of the chaos that the fed is trying to overcome.

If donny wants a firm response on the interest rate, it stands to reason that he has to act on how fiscal policy is.
