Trump's new scheme on bad economic data

Trump has found a way to cover up poor economic data from his administration policies.


First he is getting rid of 3rd party contractors that provide most of the reliable data to the government agencies.


Second he is firing agency heads if poor economic data is issued.


Third he is replacing them with loyal followers who will skew the data.


And if that doesn't work, he will keep on firing people until the agencies make the data the way he wants it.....FAKE data.


Didn't Trump just give some presentation in the Oval Office complete with charts....and the whole thing turned into another giant rant ?


And we have 3 1/2 years of this to endure.

If you're correct that sucks. He's not running for re-election. You'd hope he'd want people, including himself, to have good data.

I know he fired the head of the BLS. Do you have links for the rest of what you posted? Admittedly we're probably not far enough along to know if he'll "keep on firing people until the agencies make the data the way he wants it.....FAKE data." This is not a trick question, I'd honestly like to know more.

And right on cue, the lefties need the wahmbulance because their predictions of economic disaster were (as predicted by conservatives) laughably wrong. Then again, the left has ZERO integrity or honesty anyway. Lower energy prices, lower food prices, record stock market, NASDAQ, and S&P both up as well. Everything just destroying the narrative of the left. And it's a joy to watch.

Prices are up everywhere, including food, and some items are up so much they are unaffordable to most people......your rant is completely wrong. And more to come the last half of 2025.


No idea what you are speaking of for economic disaster predictions, but there will always be some media individuals with way out forecasts.

I never put much into the accuracy of the numbers anyway when they are announced the next month right after the previous month due to the fact that the numbers have yet to be completely reconciled/revised due to reporting inefficiencies. IMO, they should wait until the reconciliation process is finalized before announcing the numbers even if it takes 2 months to release.

Now, Trump should simply not even bother to announce any numbers because those bullshit numbers should be considered to be about as accurate as if you were a citizen of Russia or China when receiving the numbers released by the government.
