The smoke hasn’t cleared on this, so it is yet to be seen just what the FBI was after.
News reports seem to indicate Bolton was in possession of classified documents that he was not authorized to have.

It looks like it's payback time for Bolton badmouthing Donnie in his tell-all book!

Bolton knows Trump is a clown and predicted Trump's revenge tour years ago. The geezer in Chief subsequently proves him right by acting like an old cunty bitch. First with stripping him of his secret service access and now using the FBI to raid his house for classified documents because Bolton just doesn't give a fuck and says what he wants about Trump's ineptitude.

I dislike Bolton as much as anyone on this board. But this is bull shit. Compare to the raid on Mar a Lago. Undoubtedly the Feds found more there than they will at Bolton's places.

Assuming any legal action will occur in Maryland or the District of Columbia, Bolton won't receive more than a slap on the wrist. But the legal cost of defending himself may bankrupt him.
