Americans shouldn’t have to compete with illegals for affordable housing. American first. How will Democrats disparage this?

First of all undocumented immigrants are not eligible for section 8 housing assistance.

Secondly the statement “Turner revealed that only 1 out of 4 eligible American families currently receives HUD assistance due to past administrations turning a blind eye to illegal alien abuse.” is completely unsupported by any evidence.

Thirdly this sounds like a lot of people doing a lot of extra work and regulation without any facts to justify the extra costs that Public Housing Authorities will have to shoulder all on their own dime.

In conclusion, A lot more hot air, grievance, unfounded accusations and lies coming out of the Trump administration.
Not eligible, yet getting it anyway thanks to your brain dead hero Biden. Another leftist complaining about removing illegals and cleaning up fraud. in conclusion, the left will deny anything is wrong despite all evidence to the contrary.

And your statement was insulting to anyone who answered.

The 'tossing of illegal immigrants from Section 8 housing" may be academic. There well may be as many citizens 'tossed from Section 8 housing'.

The U.S. president has proposed a 51 percent cut in gross discretionary funding from HUD for the 2025 fiscal year budget, which would effectively halve funding for federal rental assistance and let the states decide how to distribute the money left. In fiscal year 2025, for reference, the HUD's budget was $89.1 billion.

Should this drastic cut be implemented, federal programs including Section 8 would be eliminated. In their place, the Trump administration's 2026 budget requests funding for a new "state rental assistance program," which would provide HUD funding directly to states.

Evidence? No need for evidence...or actual data. It's a 'sounds good sound bite'. Lots of man-hours and dollars will be expended in this review...and claims of success without data.

There is no official statistic for the number of "illegal aliens" (undocumented immigrants) in HUD Section 8 housing because federal law prohibits them from receiving subsidies, though some may reside in mixed-status households where at least one family member is a U.S. citizen or has legal status. In such mixed households, the subsidy is reduced or prorated for the family to account for the ineligible members.

Should illegal aliens be excluded from Section 8 assistance?
Yes...but this will accomplish little except a propaganda victory
