I couldn’t understand her when she finally said her name, but it definitely didn’t sound like Christine. I thought it was Joyce, and I repeated it a couple of times but still couldn’t understand her. I figured it was either Joyce or Janice as it sounded very similar to either.

Will be easier to just call and asked if "Friend" is available.
