Just moved back to the area after a year so kinda back into the scene of things. Any hotels you guys recommend that are ok to visit a provider at and which ones I should avoid? Would hate to get caught up. Seems a few I’ve noticed are on central ave like Howard Johnson, Econolodge or in Latham at Latham circle or golden circle. Any advice?
On the positive side, most (but not all) on Wolf Road are fairly decent. Also nearby the airport. Number of decent residential, longer term, and other types on Washington Ave opposite SUNY, as well as a few near Crossgates.

Most are good. I’d be worried about the motels, there’s a few that cops like to drive around and check out on central and wolf in Colonie.
In my humble opinion, avoid econolodge on central ave. Not only do you get lower quality providers there but in my experience it seems to attract unwanted police attention from time to time.
