I don't see how he didn't see this coming

The green farce is over like was promised. Every state had people trying to profit from nonsense so will be effected in one way or another, which shouldn’t be a surprise.

I watched him being interviewed- it was a little sad actually; and while he's and idealist- he seems like the guy who goes home and polishes up his 2005 young bronco buster of the year belt buckle every day.

Being green isn't bad (new at the job) , till you have a shyster in the WH who will do anything to keep the newscycles moving forward and the fuck over everyday american's at will. Yeah-- lets cut out any innovation from new energy sources (communists green energy) only cause we don't need them; wait we do need them- AI structures etc.? - no we don't need "THAT" kinda of left wing lunacy energy .....specially in any 'red state'. Dude was speechless.

Nose speaking to the face.

We actually don’t need them. We need reliable, marketable sources that can stand on their own feet, like nuclear.

We do, actually. This country lacks energy resiliency and capacity. We do need more nuclear. But we also need more hydro, more wind and more solar where they makes sense.

I'd be all for 20 new nuke plants being put up in the country to help with all the energy needs as well as electric charging stations- where we are actually investing domestically for the LONG HAUL, vs a 4 yr political cycle.

It took PV solar and wind for us to really get serious about battery storage and smart grids

the problem with so-called renewables is they are limited by location and weather. in the case of this LNG project it's based on geographically ideal locations and i'm ok with that, all resources like oil need wells to be extracted. the problem here is the Green Nuts got a free check for all matter of unfeasible projects in the name of saving Mother Gaia and these projects won't have the impact of nuclear power which has no geo or weather restrictions

the bulk of the package Biden's green nuts forced through needs to be redistributed to more nuclear solutions. for Mother Gaia

bahahaaaa

Sheehy is in Montana. One of the states in which wind and hydro power are growing the fastest.

The issue at hand was defunding the PNW Hydrogen Hub. A project that was to benefit Montana and which was slated to deliver a good number of jobs for Montanans. A project which many of Montana's conservatives supported and were quite excited about. Including thier Republican Governor

It was to use excess hydropower that is often wasted to supply hydrogen projects that generate hydrogen fuel that would be available for heavy transportation and manufacturing.

Figured some folks might want some context.

Seeing him recognize in real time what happened is one of those rare, ultra embarrassing moments you usually don't get to see. He froze so hard I thought he was running Windows 98

If you want to cut a green energy program try clean coal, which will never really be clean, and ethanol / biofuels. that’s a real waste.

We need to be more diligent about bringing in new alternatives and innovation to the industry so we aren't looking at hanging onto old mindsets that are literally 100- 200 yrs old; it's not that those don't have a place, but at some point, we need to move forward with alternatives so we are replacing old technology like ICE autos with other ones. If you don't end up making this investment now- you wont be ready when the need changes and becomes not an option but a necessity. I don't understand why ppl are so against finding new alternatives. "thats the way we always did it" isn't going to facilitate forward progress, let alone the any environmental concerns.

The US is the most innovative place in the planet- and then others try to reverse engineer or knock off the competition. If we don't have that mentality we will lose our advantage. Tech sector doesn't have to be only about things like AI, or chipset makers, but also in transportation as well.

Those who are shitting on Solar and wind, need to take a drive out to Windgap to see a successful application. It's not too far from the pgh area. Impressive indeed as well as all the windfarms that are on leased property from the PA DOT -where there was nothing before- now there is a power supplier. Why would we need to stop putting those up???
