Just this week Trump said China is paying us a lot of money in tariffs.
Wrong
It is the importer of the goods that pays the tariff fee to allow release of the goods into the USA.
That would be American businesses and American people that pay the tariffs.

You get out of income tax by not making money, you get out teriffs by not buying Chinese junck. The problem is was to back and forth and cut tax for rich. As well spent every dollar teriffs brought in 10x.
