Our boy Donald is sure full of surprises. I know the MAGA guys here will blame the negative response on TDS but seriously, does anyone like the idea of a building twice the size of the White House sitting immediately beside the White House!!?? Dumb.

Stage 5 TDS. I guess you didn’t see the overhead shot. It’s at the very end of the East Wing with plenty of room for expansion. He’s paying for the entire project. Beats paying for Obama’s basketball court with taxpayer money.

Trump probably will only be able to use it for a couple years but future administrations will benefit. This has nothing to do with TDS. I can’t open Bams link but the rendering I saw was a colossal building…that looked to be 3-4 stories tall. Again….twice the size of the White House, which was built large in order to impress and maybe intimidate visiting world leaders.
I’m surprised the same people who complained about historic monuments coming down due to wokeness see nothing wrong with this.

The East Wing hasn’t been renovated since 1942. It obviously needs refurbished.

So no, it's not a refurbishment. He didn't bring it back to full functionality and restore it OG condition or even with minor updates to renew or refresh. He didn't respect what was there and the history.
