I have been having issues with text now for a while now, either I have to prove I’m a human every time I log in or when I send a text, it will log me out and I would have to log in by way of a browser to use it. Or the worst of the worst, losing your number because you “ violated the terms of service”. I’ve been using Textnow for years but it has gotten bad here of late.

I have two text apps on my phone, and both work fine, Hushed and Burner never a problem.

Last month I had two different girls with texting problems.

If my lively hood was tied to sending and receiving text I would not fuck with an app I would have a hobby phone with a major carrier where I could always get 4 bars.

So her failure to send/receive text cost her $400 from me a probably more from other customers.

Is it penny wise dollar foolish or I cannot be expected to keep up with two phones?

It's mindboggling how some Providers have so many texting issues.

Yes check out oh2 coed in SaTx. Its spoken about quite a bit on there. There are quite a few posts all throughout this year in particular that mention it. I stopped using text apps for this very reason. Folks weren't getting my text. I thought one guy ghosted me all of a sudden , until I called to see if he got my text, and ask him how come he never responded if he did. But to my surprise, him and a few others afterwards, had the same issue and said they never received my texts. So I immediately stopped using those apps to avoid the issue all together. Those apps were also constantly signing me out and limiting the amount of text I could send in one day, since I was on the free version. But I had been using that app for a while, b4 2025, without ever encountering those issues, UNTIL this year. TBH, I think those apps are monitoring the content being sent. And that thought alone should deter anyone from using them, should they want to retain a level of privacy.

Me and my ATF found this out the hard way. I sent her a photo and she never replied. Then when I asked her about it, she said she never received it, so I sent a screenshot to her personal number showing the text, and photo. I think Deja is correct, they might limit the number of texts allowed during the day.
