I wanted to join the U.S. Marines or the Air Farce out of High School.

Dad said you will go to college and that's that.

U could have joined the Marines & gone to college after the Marines on the GI Bill !!!

At same time I had friends from HS that joined the Marines and two of them didn't make it. They were in Beirut in 1983.


In the past 42 years, I have thought of them many times.

For my two brothers that are marines. Thank you for your service.
