Spoy @ Dantara Massage

So Dantara is very close to me, and with Miki out of town, I thought I'd go see Spoy. I'd heard good things, but didn't remember specifics. I texted and set up a time, probably with the main spa scheduler, and arrived rarin to go.

Entering, there were 4-5 of the masseuses up front around the male front desk person, looking at stuff on the computer. I said I was there for Spoy, and they said go back to room 2. I went back, and she was finishing straightening up...kind of a messy room near the end of the day, but the area around the massage table was nice and clean. Spoy is very cute, probably mid-30's, and has a good command of English. I stripped and prepared for a 90-minute mediocre massage...

NOPE! What I got was the best Thai massage of my life. She walked all over my back, legs & arms...I've been super tense for awhile, and she really worked to loosen me up. Painful at times, but the good kind - where you know she's releasing so much pent-up tightness. She worked me over REALLY well for over an hour. Spoy had no problems with my hands roaming during the massage, but didn't initiate a grab or tug. Nearing the end of our time, she was orbiting my groin with nice pressure...upper thighs, stomach, etc, so I thought I'd take off the towel and show her how I was feeling. I said "You missed a spot," and stroked myself as an example. She gave me a look and asked "You won't get me in trouble?" After assuring her I wouldn't, she exhorted me to be very quiet and proceeded with a very nice, firm tug to completion. She cleaned me off well, I tipped nicely and went on my way.

I believe Dantara is pretty strict when it comes to extra activities, so anything more than L1 may be hard to come by (pun intended!). You've gotta be extra quiet if those activities are offered. Spoy offered that she lives in Irving, and offers massages out of her place for regulars, which I assume means more is on the table.

For those in need of a GREAT Thai massage, go see Spoy, but be very circumspect about add-ons.

I just looked and a Spoy is not one of the therapists. Ded she leave or did they see the review?
