ugh is oh2 down AGAIN?

trying to figure out if it is in fact just down for everyone or if its just user error. i tried it with a vpn already.

nope, it's down. bullshit DATABASE errors galore, almost every click. It's fucking unusable.

Blame the admin running on potato servers with coding aptitudes from the late 2000s, and the amount of mongers looking for cheap thrills.

This is an every day thing with that site. During the day is a Russian roulette if the page will load or get the database error. Last night it was about as bad as during the day, but I have noticed night time seems to be better overall.

I was getting very frequent “Database Error” messages this morning, much more frequent than usual (and they had been getting more regular as of late), but I was able to get in after multiple attempts. I probably won’t even try for awhile until someone reports that it is up and running.

Edit to add: I was able to get back in a few minutes ago. Definitely hit or miss.

I managed to get on again this evening. Took a look at their statistics. 15k users online around 8:15, which is unusually high (the most ever was just under 19k, back in August when I believe they suffered another attack that took them down for a few days).

Only 520 of the 15k this evening were members. So, most likely a DDOS situation again.

DDOS on OH2 doesn't make sense at all. There is literally no profit for anyone. Had it been like some financial company - it makes sense that they want to disrupt it.

Yeah i dont buy the DDOS bs excuse. Its just CK doesnt want to pay to get the board/site on better software or pay to get the current code improved.

ironic that the board, like the users, is always going down.
