The Tide is "kicking the shit" out of LSU

Literally. 5 field goals to none. Brutal Football 101.

yep, Lester has always had QB problems, why would he not try somebody else?
Well, Bama did it in style, only one penalty, no turnovers, and allowed LSU to get past the 50 yard line only one time, holding the number one team in the Nation to just a total of 92 yards offense.

Roll Tide.

Alabama definitely deserved the ass whoopin.... but that has to be the absolute worst offensive coaching / play calling by LSU that I have ever seen from a so-called championship caliber team!!

It sure will be nice to have an actual, "real" QB , next year!!
ive been alive long enough to know that was coming

The better team won...that said, I hope we never have another rematch in BCS history.
I always wondered how LSU made it through the season unbeaten without a bona fide QB.

I would have to say the defense held up their end of the bargain, forcing all of those field goals. Had the offense spent some time on the field, but then, if a frog had wings.

It will be interesting to see if they have a decent QB next year, since the probably starter at this point barely took any snaps all year. May fall on the top recruit to make things happen. He will have a pretty good support staff in RBs and receivers at least.

It wasn't a sad game if you had money on the 'tide!

I made money all year on LSU but after watching the first game, there was no way I could bet aganist Alabama. I could not bet on them either. I hate those fuc'ers!

Congrats you freaking roll tiders. You played a great game. Now maybe one of you will not have to take a chainsaw to the Auburn Oak Trees!

from what I understand (didn't watch the game) it was a coaching failure to change QB. Les stayed with Jordan Jefferson instead of sending Jarrett Lee who engineered much of LSU's winning season, 8-0, I believe.

LSU defense for the most part carried the team.

Except checking Jarrett Lee's career numbers against Alabama, you'd realize that the score would probably have turned out to be 73 to -14 or something. He's sucked out loud against them for 4 years. Also, they thought the Bama pass rush would have eaten him alive, which is true. They might should have tried something, but it wouldn't really have mattered; that was as close to an NFL defense as you'll get in a college game.

anyway, Whoot! 9 National titles! Take that Notre Dame!
