Upcoming movies I can't wait to see..!!

The original "Alien", directed by Ridley Scot was a classic horror movie. Doing a prequel to "Alien" is like doing a prequel "Citizen Cane" or "Its a Wonderful Life"

Can't wait for "Skyfall". Daniel Craig has become my favorite Bond actor. I'm not sure how I feel about the rogue Bond character that he has played in his movies though. I hope they don't take that too far. Either M trusts him or she doesn't. The back and forth from her character right now, to me, is more over the top than any of the cool cars, hi-tech gadgets or ridiculous stunts they've tried to pull off in the past.

My first Bond film at the theater was Diamonds are Forever.

Favorites are:
Dr. No
Thunderball
On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Live and Let Die.
Casino Royale

All of the above, plus:

The Dark Knight Rises (And kicks ass.)
Men In Black III (Josh Brolin clones Tommy Lee Jones' attitude.)
Snow White and the Huntsman
(Not your mama's fairy tale.)
Resident Evil: Retribution (I think I have a thing for Mila Jovanovitch.)
Expendables 2 (Jason Statham and Bruce Willis can have the keys to my apartment.)
GI Joe: Retaliation (The Rock and the Willis, and I like things that explode.)
World War Z (Zombies and Brad Pitt! I'm not kidding.)

I may go see Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter just because I thought the movie trailer was a joke pulling the collective legs of the audience when I first saw it. Really? May be the oddest take on the John Wilkes Boothe conspiracy theory we've ever heard.

GI Joe has been postponed to 2013. No reason given but I suspect the plot about a president who is not a natural born American who turns on the military and betrays the entire country to a foreign entity didn't ring well this close to an election.

I want to see the second Atlas Shrugged movie. This should be were the action begins.
We also have the Hobbit coming.
I like what I see in Brave
Then there is the sequel to the Hunger Games.

I would love to see a big screen movie production of Justified.

. . . Personally, I think you have to admire a man who is good with a gun!

The Avengers is on my hit list, tomorrow, based on its popularity; otherwise, I probably would have passed. Of course, Men In Black III is currently in theaters now, but whether I see it in the theater or wait for the video depends on its reception by the public. I'm not sure Will Smith can reprise the franchise with the same level of fun in the original MIBs.

I had heard about The Dark Knight Rises, Total Recall and Snow White and the Huntsman with Charlize Theron. Unless they are panned by the critics and the public, I’ll go see them. I remember experiencing Schwarzenegger’s Total Recall movie and how it seemed so totally new and original at the time. I hope the new one is at least as good as the original.

I heard about Snow White and the Huntsman several months ago and have been anticipating its release. I like Charlize Theron so I’ll probably venture to see it. I’ve always liked Batman movies, so unless it’s just totally panned I’ll see it at the theater.

Prometheus with Charlize Theron or SkyFall with Daniel Craig are movies I have not heard about, but I’m a fan of Bond movies and did follow the Alien movies with Sigourney Weaver. Daniel Craig is one of my favorite actors, and I think he does a good job as Bond (I hated Roger Moore’s version – I liked Moore as The Saint, but not as Bond).
The upcoming Tom Cruise movie Rock of Ages looks interesting:

I'm looking forward to the Star Wars sequels-- Episodes VII, VIII and IX. Oh wait, all those bitchy Star Wars fans pissed off George Lucas so much that we will probably never see how Han, Luke and Leia save the galaxy from the Evil Empire

Seriously-- looking forward to most of the movies mentioned plus The Bourne Legacy.

It is bad enough that JJ Abrams had to re-boot Star Trek using an alternate Kirk, Spock, etc. Now, I have to remember these are 2 different time lines. That is somewhat bearable given Star Trek has always dabbled with alternate universes and timelines going all the way back to the Mirror, Mirror episode of the original series. Also, alternate timelines is a JJ Abrams "specialty". Can anyone say Fringe? OMG, he has 3 alternate timelines going with that series. Oh, I digress....
