What the hell is wrong with people

I'm sorry it may not be politically correct, but this womans aunt said,she has been in and out of psychward, so why is she allowed to have a child. You may not agree,but this is a tradegy that could have been prevented. Very distrubing.

Wow! Im at a lost for words. The child was so innocent, and somehow the system failed the child by allowing him to be with his mother. Obviously the mother had past mental problems which was notated in the article, and if somebody is capable of eating their own newborn's brain and body parts, im pretty sure somebody had to have known that the mother is too fucked up in the head to have custody of the child. Shit, my son is 18 months old, attached to myself and his mother at the hip, and has never been away from us for more than 4 hours (to have a date night). I cant imagine any parent doing this. Obviously she will get off with an insanity plea also, because no sane human woukd do that to a newborn.

Guilty by reason of insanity. From what I recall she is in an institution and will never get out. But has responded to treatment.

I have read so many sad stories in the past couple weeks.
Just like the guy who ate anothers face. I dont know what this world is comming to. I blame drugs(and addicts) and people hiding behind mental disorders.
