Hey the message area at top that welcomes you , and contains your php , and messages , is no longer visible if you click were their supposed to be , then they illuminate like they usually are in gold . Is there something going on with the site ?

It looks to me like some of the colors on the background of that area changed recently.

The text is still there, but it's almost the same color as the background and is really hard to see.

Yep , that's what I mean . Noticed it yesterday morning , just wanted there to be awareness of it to make sure it's not a server problem or virus or such .

also it looks like you dont have any messages the part whare you click to see your messages its blank

Yep, was taken care of when the new look went live a couple of days ago (well actually, the handles became visible again a few days before that).
