Happy 4th to all!

No Celebrations until you Thank a Veteran or Honor a fallen Hero...

As a retired veteran, I thank you for the support you give to the guys and gals still serving.

Big shout out to all the vets and the ones who are still serving our country! We would not have this day if it wasn't for all of y'all! Thank you very much

I hope that everyone enjoyed the 4th!!!!! And also remembered to take a moment to remember our service men and women, both past and present.......

As an RVN vet who had a very different experience coming home, I am gratified to see that we are not still treating service people in the way that we did then.

While the decision to send troops to Iraq an Afghanistan (like Viet Nam) was controversial, I am glad to see that we are not taking our angst and unhappiness out on those who voluntarily chose to serve our country. I have to admit to feeling that sometimes we go over the top, glorifying military service (and with it the war itself) over other forms of public service, I will gladly take that over they way that veterans of Viet Nam were "welcomed" home. For me, it was harder than my time in country to come home to such open vitriol.
