Advice for Newbie ?

Some of this is a re-run from my post in the ISO section, and for that I apologize, but I am looking for all the input I can get....I live in small town TX but travel a bit on business, including the LR area, and I have decided that it's ok to treat myself to some company when I'm on the road sometimes. I have contacted some of the ladies on here but they all want references, and I can certainly understand that. However, I have very little to offer in that regard - I have previously visited exactly one provider (in Little Rock, actually) but that was over a year ago and I have no idea how to contact her today (if I did, I might or might not be posting this....).

I'm looking at P411, several have said that would help - if y'all have further thoughts on that, please chime in. Some have also said that incall is a better way to get started (than outcall), which is fine by me..

If there are alternate ways to help a lady get comfortable with my intentions, I'm open minded. If that means a first visit that's just conversation / drinks / dinner (all, including the time, on my dime), so be it.

I welcome your thoughts, both ladies' and gents'...

Being that you live in TX, I believe you should have a bit more choice and willing participants. I would try there first and look for newbie friendly women. I got pretty lucky and met a few lovely ladies willing to see me without references. I have been screened by a few ladies now and can pass some screening. You have to start somewhere and that's what I would do. Best of luck. An chances are you will find more newbie friendly in TX than AR. Then again, if you don't ask...the answer is always no.

Good advice by BWayne. In addition, there are other ways for Providers to check references; being able to verify employment in another field besides LE, etc.

What you need to focus on is that this is not only for their own safety, but yours as well; do you really want to spend time with someone who doesn't take the time to verify who they are with? You don't want to end up on the evening news!

So my advice would be that when you contact a provider; tell them you are a newbie and that you'd be willing to provide whatever information they need to be comfortable because it's just as important to you as it is to them.

My only other advice would be to stay off BP and stick to ECCIE/P411 providers, that's how you'll earn your way in.

Best of luck!

If in East TX, Shreveport may be more newbie friendly than some spots in AR. Take a look on P411 -- as I recall there are even some nice choices in smaller TX cities like Tyler . . .

If you said who you saw in Little Rock maybe someone out there may know how to contact her .. dont know if she would remember you but you never know....
I don't really know the protocol here, not sure I should "blurt out" her name here in public...if any ladies were interested I could certainly pass that along to them individually...
