Why the pop ups???

Why, when I click on a forum header on the home page do I get an Eros pop up in a new window???

It's really irritating, especially for a site I pay for.

I'm not seeing that. Perhaps has something to do with browser settings?

I see it when I use my tablet because it's bookmarked to main page. But my iPhone is bookmarked to Austin , and I can go to main and it doesn't pop up .

I thought that was just me. If it's by design, yeah, it's kind of irritating.
