Wow - 800 million spent for the Portland to Seattle "high speed rail line" and it still doesn't beat the Greyhound bus! Maybe we should give up on passenger rail. Bus is cheaper and planes are faster.
The freight lines should pay their own maintenance on the tracks and let's nuke Amtrak.
