does the search include threads that have been closed?
it says something about all open topics in the advance search.

Good question and one we need to test in order to find the answer.

I closed the other thread to test to see whether or not you could use the search function and find it. Should be an easy search for you.

I searched using your name an the thread came up. I searched "search" in the Louisiana threads and it popped up.

hmmm the "open" must refer to any thread not in private or restricted ... " Search " is in the title ... so if a thread is closed, the title and thread comments are still open to public view .... does that work with private comments as well ... or is that unsearchable content ?
