To use or not to use an agency

Hi there. I was reading through many of the wonderful threads in this forum and saw an interesting one about indy vs agency.

I started in this profession in an odd way, having posted an add for sitting on craigslist and being asked if I clean in the nude. First job of that sort was about a year ago and here I am today doing fairly well but always looking for ways to improve every aspect of my life. I didn't know there were agencies....that is how green I was.

So my question is this... Are there any good agencies that are in the jackson area to even consider or should I just stick with being an indy girl?

Indy! The agencies in MS are slime - bait and switch, upsell, all the bad stuff. Talk to Mina Parker about them - she's very well informed.

Do you feel you should pay anyone for the job you perform?

If the answer is no, then stay independent.

I started as an agency girl a long, long time ago. With THEE worst agency on the coast, and tested every single one around out at least for a little while. All I got from the entire experience is the feeling of being dirty. As if my body wasn't mine any more. You don't ever know if they actually screened your call properly, and more often then not, they don't at all. Why would they care if you get hurt or arrested as long as they get their cut? You have no choices, no free will, you are a product, being sold for someone elses gain. If you're here, and not a junkie, or functionally retarded, there is just no good reason any girl should be "managed".

Just think... I for one, (and I'm almost certain any girl here) has been fucking and sucking far before some dude came along to tell her she can capitalize on it. No need to cut a penis into the action unless that penis IS the action.
